Deal site Rupu.co.ke has joined forces with Visa, a leader in global payments on a six week campaign aimed at encouraging Kenyans take up online shopping using their site.
Online shopping craze in the country has attracted a number of players mostly foreign owned to take advantage of fast shift towards a cashless society.
Consumers who use their Visa debit or credit cards on Rupu will be rewarded with Sh 1,000 for their first purchase during the campaign period.

Through the campaign period, users who purchase goods or services worth more than Sh 1,500 on Rupu with their VISA card will get Sh 1,000 to spend on their next purchase on the site.
