Legendary musician of the popular Kenyan Twist music genre, John Amutabi (Nzenze) has died.
Nzenze was pronounced dead at Mukumu Mission Hospital at about 2pm today, where he had been hospitalised for a month.
Reports say the 80-year-old legend had been battling hypertension and stomach ulcers.
He was best known for his Angelike Twist hit song released in the early 1960s.
