StarTimes gets exclusive rights to air Pakistan Super League

Pay Tv, StarTimes has announced a successful acquisition of exclusive rights to air Pakistan Super league 2017 & 2018 in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The media rights cut across all media platforms and includes all languages within the region.

South Africa is however not included in the list of countries that will enjoy the matches. The event set to kick off from Feb. 9th 2017 and end on March 5th will see five teams play most of  their matches in Dubai and Sharjah.

PSL chairman Najam Sethi announced that the 2017 Pakistan Super League final will be held in Lahore, the bustling city where the Sri Lankan team bus was attacked by militants in 2009.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty cricket league organised by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in which five franchises participate.

City/region based member clubs, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta represent federal areas and four provinces of Pakistan.

Sports fans interested in Cricket can enjoy the smashing batting, lethal bowling and acrobatic fielding performances live in UAE.

Five franchises will participate in PSL in the start include Islamabad United         Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars,  Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators.
