Online classifieds site, OLX Kenya, has introduced a phone number verification padlock to improve security and transaction on its platform. The feature is designed to enable fast and safe transactions between sellers and buyers, as part of company’s ongoing measures to tame hackers.
Sellers who want to advertise on the platform will now be required to provide their mobile phone numbers while logging in to post an ad on OLX after which they will receive a pin code through a text.
