When Infinix Mobility hit the Kenya market a few years ago with its premier Infinix Hot Note, owning a smartphone was still a status symbol. Two years later, and with one more variant in between, smartphones have become as ubiquitous as shoes.
The company recently assaulted the market with a new and sleekier budget smartphone, which seeks to cement its presence in this segment. The Infix Hot 3 appears to redefine the concept of low-priced smartphones.
In Hot 3, Infinix Mobility has packaged a high-tech smartphone as it seeks to increase its market share in Kenya. Like earlier Infinix devices, Hot 3 targets first-time users, low-income earners and those seeking a secondary device, especially the youth.
The device fits comfortably in the hand and comes with a “luxurious gold” finish on the polycarbonate back panel.
