Kenya wild Safaris, diversified tourism products like golfing and water sports helped it gain prestigious recognition at a global exhibition.
The country’s exhibition was awarded the second best in the Africa category at this year’s International Tourism Bourse (ITB, in Berlin, Germany which ended on March 13, 2016.

KTB’s Ag. CEO Jacinta Nzioka noted the country has been investing in ensuring it positions Kenya’s product offering in a creative way to attract the thousands of visitors who attend the annual three day event.
“This year we saw a lot of interest in our offering and with the various incentives the government has put in place we are optimistic the interests will convert to actual visitors,” said Nzioka.
The evaluation of exhibition stalls is carried out in two stages: the fifteen best exhibitors form the first round are scrutinized before moving to the next stage. The awards are categorized in the different continents with the top 10 being named.
