Matatu owners have an opportunity to monitor movement of their vehicles in real time thanks to a tracking facility from CIC Insurance Group.
The underwriter is offering the facility through its Motor Commercial Plus policy that is tailor made for public service and heavy commercial vehicles.
The policy also takes care of loan repayments whenever vehicle is taken off the road.

DRICON Secretary General Zacharia Murage Nderitu said that the SACCO is working closely with CIC Insurance Group to ensure both small and big operators create jobs and spur economic growth.
Nderitu stated that other established organizations should take advantage and exploit available business opportunities owing to increasing cash flows in the Sacco and SME sector.
