Chai sacco taps KCB’s marketing manager, Sarah Kisaka

Chai Sacco has tapped Kenya Commercial Bank’s (KCB) Sarah Kisaka to head its business development and marketing unit as part of broader strategy to strengthen its operational and service delivery.

The society is targeting top minds in the corporate market to enable it expand product offering over the next five years to grow a sustainable business portfolio and enhance customer service.

Chai Sacco’s Chief Executive Officer, Purity Maina, said Sarah’s appointment is in line with the cooperative’s strategic positioning.

“We believe modern financial services providers will continue to evolve with the changing needs of the consumer. As such, our primary goal is to continually hone the versatility of our proposition by strengthening our services delivery team and grow our branch network so as to meet our customers’ needs. This is a significant appointment for the co-operative,” said Maina.

Kisaka joins the sacco as the Business Development & Marketing Manager; she brings to the sacco diverse experience in the marketing industry and understanding of the financial sector spanning six years.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Kenyatta University and a MBA in Marketing from University of Nairobi – She will be instrumental in implementing the Sacco’s strategy.

“As we build a firm business platform across the country, we will continue to engage and hire the best experts so as to offer the very best in services delivery and product development to our members,” said Maina.
