New Florida Nightclub (F1) also known as Madhouse has finally been demolished after its closure December last year-it started operations in the 60’s.
It marks an end to an era of resilience hosting nostalgic party animals for almost four decades when rival entertainment joints like visions, Bubbles and L’ora Blues closed shop or reinvented and moved to other spots.
The 360-degree nightclub will now be replaced by a 27 story building housing Kenya Tea development Agency (KTDA).
F1 has been an entertainment hotspot since the ‘60s even before it became part of the Florida Group.
