Kenya Airways, has activated a Mobile Check-In service that allows customers to check in for their flights using any internet-enabled mobile device.
The self-service mobile application now unveiled by the national carrier is part of the airline’s strategic efforts to enhance its customer experience.
The use of information technology solutions is also part of Kenya Airways efforts to rollout technology based cost management solutions that guarantee efficiency and lower delivery costs.
Speaking when he confirmed the Mobile Check in service activation, Kenya Airways’ Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Titus Naikuni said that the mobile check-in service is an effort to consistently provide a world-class experience by leveraging on technological innovations.
Among the services available on Mobile check-in are: customer selection, flight selection, seat selection from seat map, frequent flyer update, customer notifications and cancellation of check-in. T
